چکیده

Purpose: Non-specific chronic neck pain (NSCNP) is a major health problem. Scapular dyskinesia one of the contributing factors to NSCNP. The suspension-type exercise relatively new method used in rehabilitation scapular dysfunction. purpose this pretest post- test randomized clinical trial was study effects muscles training using prefabricated suspension system on improving pain, function, muscle strength, and position subjects with non-specific dyskinesia.
Materials methods: This quasi-experimental two groups pre-posttest performed at an outpatient clinic. Fifty-two patients diagnosed NSCNP, participated study. Their mean age 24.46 5.32 years. They were receive either stretching exercises manual resistance (group A) or B). Researchers measured intensity numeric rating scale (NPRS), function disability index (NDI), strength handheld dynamometer, stability lateral slide (LSST). Twelve sessions given individuals over period six weeks, pre- post-intervention outcome measures evaluated.
Results: Mann-Whitney demonstrated no statistically significant difference between after intervention terms relief, functional improvement, (p>0.05). On other hand, there favor group B who received suspension- type regarding improvement (p<0.05).
Conclusion: While superiority cannot be concluded due lack control group, can beneficial as compared traditional therapy, while both methods have similar effect NSCNP dyskinesia.

Comparison of the Effect of Scapular Stabilization and Conscious Control Training on Postural Variables, Pain, and Selected Muscle Strength in Patients with Scapular Dyskinesia

Introduction: Scapular orientation and movements can affect the function of the shoulder. Changes in scapular alignment or movement in shoulder regions have the potential to alter the kinetic chain of the body. Therefore, this study aimed at comparing scapular stabilization and conscious control training on postural variables, pain, and selected muscle strength in patients with scapular dyskine...
